I really wanted a place that can encourage people to really embrace their uniqueness and be true to themselves. I have gotten to the point where I love myself and hope to get other people too as well.
I would look online for some people that looked like me, dressing like how I like to dress for inspiration. I didn’t see a whole lot. I figure there are many people out there that feel the same so I wanted to put this blog out there for those people like me. A millennial, black, married, mother of two, that is realizing how I lost my confidence and identity for a bit, but she’s made a comeback!
I hope to spread positivity that will get people to feel empowered and confident to be their best selves while staying true to themselves.

My name is Diana Jae from the Bay Area, born and raised. I have always had a love for the rock n’ roll world: the music, arts, fashion, and attitude. I had a hard time finding people like me in this space, which was frustrating because representation matters. I know I am not a unicorn – people that look like me or have the same interests are out there.
After years of feeling lost, I decided to start this website! I hope this place will be an area that people can feel welcome and love who they are truly.

Favorite Piece of Clothing?
You can never ever ever (!) go wrong with a band tee whether you pair it with a pair of jeans or a skirt. As you will see under the Fashion tab, I love band tees. I know people feel pressure to wear only band tees from people they enjoy listening to… I say wear a top you enjoy. If they cannot accept it, that is on them. Band tribalism and gatekeeping sucks. Add a pair of hoop earrings and you have a winning fit.
